Rock On is the first movie of Farhan Akhtar as an actor. The movie is about 4 friends, , Aditya Shroff, Joe Mascarhenas, Rob Nancy and Kedar Zaveri aka KD ("Killer Drummer") who start a rock band and struggle to make it big in the rock world.

Film stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai in the lead roles, along with Luke Kenny, Purab Kohli, Koel Purie, Shahana Goswami and Nicolette Bird.
